I have had a problem with Rockets commercials since Les Alexander took over the team. I know the guy is a business man but I think he has the organization focusing too much on P.R. and not enough on basketball.
I agree...those commercials with Yao and Steve visiting fans to thank them for the all star votes are just great. Those guys make a great comedy team...although I think the Ernie and Bert comparisons are a little off...I was thinking more along the lines of Abbott and Costello. As far as the Yao on a ladder...I tolerate that one since it features powerdancers.
Oh yeah, in that commercial with Yao and Steve where they're playing scrabble, what is the meaning of that word that Yao spells? I think it's spelled "xuhi"...You could do some serious damage if you put that bad boy on a triple word score... Maybe it's a cuss word in Chinese.
The rockets need to steal some of the Marketing guys from the MAVS. The Mavs have some great comercials for their games. "God is a mavs fan" ads. I hate the Mavs, but their ads are good. They are different for each team.
