Look.... this is something that needs to be discussed. I know the season isnt over... but I am very concerned about his benching. He flat out sucks. Seems as though Green will be taking his spot moving forward. How the hell do we make this team even better with this heaping pile of stinking s*** contract.... 2 years at $40 million dollars. What a negative value trade chip. This s*** depresses the hell out of me. Anyone else share the same sentiment?
lol I was thinking it was for only 1 more year. yikes. hopefully he can contribute in a big way at some point in these playoffs.
I just looked it up and was floored. Ryan Anderson is the 41st highest paid player in the NBA. And is not getting minutes. That's scary
Can we make a behind the scene deal. Where capela will take less than max deal and Rhino promises to give half of his salary to capela. Lol.
Has nothing to do with this 2018 playoff run tbh. Anderson costs less than melo and will let you dnp Him unlike melo so that alone means we dodged a bullet there. We can worry about contracts in the offseason.
Yes. We are likely stuck with him. There’s not much we can do to bait a team to take him on. It hurts to think that he makes it tougher to re-sign impactful role players. I hope we can find a way to send him home to SAC or LA. Both have sizeable cap space but little other motivation so idk. “NO! Go away!” - Ryno
This is news to me. I thought everyone around here loved Ryno and would never trade him for anything!
You’re right it’s water under the bridge. But for discussion sake, I think Melo is more talented than ryno still and he’d look better here with guys that share the ball vs how he looked in OKC. Plus his contract is shorter and he might’ve even opted out this season to sign a more team friendly but still lucrative deal. I think at the very least he’d at least be playing. One thing is for sure. He wouldn’t be passing up shots that he should be taking. And hell, defensively it’s probably a wash. I think Melo on this team with how we play would look 100 times better than whatever the **** they’re doing in OKC.
I thought Maude Flanders died a decade ago. If you want to try out optimism, it's great. Ryan Anderson helps us win games in the regular season, giving us home court advantage that we can choose to blow with lazy rotations. Woah, a particle of game 2 was caught in my teeth and dislodged itself. I am now cleansed.
And where is Shane Battier during all of this? What we need is a Rudy Gay. He is the solution to all of our young man problems.
