Being eliminated is not the whole story.

Clippers point margins in elimination series:
    2012 -11.50
    2013 -5.50
    2014 -0.84

Rockets point margins in elimination series:
    2013 -5.83
    2014 +0.33
    2015 (so far) -17.00

point margin isn't the whole story either....Pat + Dmo at least keeps us from getting blown out.

didn't know cyberx had said that about josh…..was this a recent post or previously?

agree that changes can be made with the role players like ariza, but i think harden/dwight are here for a long while and each of them has disappointed with their mental approaches in this series. mchale i think is here at least one more season -- les isn't going to eat all that money he just gave him..

Damn it. I hate to agree with Matt Barnes. But he's right.

The Rockets are close, very close, to being absolute legit title contenders. But we obviously aren't quite there yet.

That said- I hope like hell we shut him up and win 3 games in a row.

you're right they haven't been together, which might explain the high turnovers and defensive breakdowns to some degree. but not playing hard is just baffling. leaving shooters wide open all day, not getting back in transition, missing wide open layup after layup. for diehard rocket fanss like you and me, the way they've played leaves no words to describe. speechless...

Within the last 2 days, cyber said the Rockets were operating, as if Smith wasn't returning. I believe cyberx has said before he was surprised at how far ahead the rockets plan, so i guess that's what he was referring to.

We got blown out at home when they didn't have Chris Paul and barely won Game 2 also at home without Chris Paul.

    I'm not sure I'd call G1 a blowout.

Yes, we should have won both convincingly, but that doesn't mean a healthy Pat and Dmo wouldn't have changed anything. You could argue they are the two that keep consistently fighting and that's exactly what we lacked.

Spin machine in full effect. I gotta say, you're getting mighty creative with the excuses.

Matt Barnes...the smug, instigator, fake tough guy is condescending down to us with his back handed compliment.

I dislike Matt Barnes with every fiber of my being, but I can see some truth in his observations.

Did yall notice he was nicer today? None of the players were cursing or causing trouble.

No rest for you Matt Barnes.
Also for the people who say that the team must play longer together..with Morrey as GM and the usual roster turnover don't see it happening.

They have one of the best point guards in history setting up those shooters. I'll take Terry over any of their shooters except maybe Redick.
