I love watching her play. It is fun.

The only thing that bugs me about the women's game is that the ball is smaller, we should all be playing with the same size ball.

One of the major differences between the men's and women's game is the size of the basketball. During NBA and FIBA play men use a Size 7 basketball, with a circumference of 75 centimetres, while women use a Size 6 ball measuring 72.5cm around.

It is so much easier to handle and to shoot.....

Another fun fact, did you know that 2 of the size 7 balls (larger) can fit through the hoop at the same time?

The hoop is slightly larger than the 2 balls.

Keep in mind most girl's and women's hands are smaller than boy's and men's.

Love watching Caitlin Clark shoot. There are some really good basketball players in college and in the WNBA. Love watching Cameron Brink, the Hull twins, NaLyssa Smith, Aliyah Boston, and best of all, Paige Bueckers play. And in the pros, Breanna Stewart, Kelsey Plum, Arike Ogunbowale, Sabrina Ionescu, Skyler Diggins, and A'ja WIlson.

    Nope.

    ball diameter = 24.26 cm
    rim diameter = 46 cm

But anyone who has participated in a shootaround knows that you can get 2 balls stuck in the net.

We don't make accommodations for men with small hands. Equal pay for equal work, right?

Weird..... I have done the test myself. And Coach K does it when his players first get to Duke.

Why not? Girls/young women have played with a smaller ball throughout school and AAU ball. And I am not a golfer, but do women tee off from the same tee as men? Don't they make women's sized golf clubs?

btw, women professional basketball players don't make the same as their men counterparts. Just as women in the workforce get paid less for the same job. Perhaps you can make a different argument?

Hmmmm, interesting, I was being glib - but it is interesting.....I believe woman should be paid the same for the same work.

I guess if the sports are easier the men in charge can say.....well it is not the same work......dunno...tbh.
