She plans to pay for it with money she will get from her inheritance as a princess of Austria. She will need to send money to the Chancellor of Austria first though to prove her lineage.
She should've gone to these guys http://www.419eater.com/ I heard about "Scambaiting" on NPR's This American Life about someone who convinced a Nigerian Scammer to go to a warzone to try to scam a church out of $200,000.
this link is a perfect example of this situation. http://blogs.psychologytoday.com/blog/the-moral-molecule/200811/how-run-a-con
I don't think that's the same. Your example was people trying to help each other. In her case, she was just trying to help herself. And even when others were trying to help her stop, she ignored them.
From reading the story, I honestly don't believe it was the correct name. The writer seems to be trying to cover up for her incompetency, so calling him a long-lost grandfather is a good way to do that. But yeah, either way she's a complete idiot. It says her family and law enforcement were even trying to warn her about it. And somebody gave her props for coming out with the story? I think it makes her even more dumb! She's not saving anybody else from this situation - everybody already knows!
And she's a nurse?! Does anyone think that during the time she's scammed that she's too worried about the money, she probably injected the WRONG drugs to patients? If she's that obsessed, then I doubt she could concentrate on her work, especially if she's losing $400K! Stupid lady.
Well she is from a place called Sweet Home, Oregon afterall. I've lived in OR for 25 years and I have absolutely no idea where Sweet Home is. Never even knew it existed. She's probably never heard of the internetz and thinks Nigeria is a bank.
Some people should not be allowed to manage their own money. The scary thing is: She's allowed to vote.
I can't feel sorry for this person, no matter how hard I try. Everyone told her to stop, but her greed ultimately drove her to keep going.
Just noticed this line... "She wiped out her husband’s retirement account, mortgaged the house and took a lien out on the family car. Both were already paid for." And then found on Fox News her quote: "The retirement [my husband] was dreaming of — cruising and going around and seeing America — is pretty much gone for him right now," she said. http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,453125,00.html What a stupid beyotch! Imagine being married to this woman?!?! I can't feel sorry for her, but damn I feel terrible for him!
haha if you go to the fourms and read some of the scambaiting those guys put through the scammers is hilarious.
