I hope they discover who this "Ivan" is and throw the proverbial clay tablet at him. Along with the fine of €15,000, he should be sentenced to clean the nearest tourist toilets at the ancient Colosseum after it closes in the evening every day for a month.

When he finishes with the toilets he must spend the rest of the night in the nearest drunk tank, then in the morning be escorted to where he did the dastardly deed. There, he will be required to stand facing the passing tourists, and as each tourist goes past, point at what he did and say, "Paenitet me."
