The reality of sexual dimorphism when it comes to athletics is immutable.

The fact that the team with mostly trans-women on it stomped everyone else is not a surprise.

The concussion is suspect, because hockey is dangerous regardless, but the difference in average weight and speed would inevitably lead to more risk for trans-men.

This will continue to manifest again and again, regardless of how many times activists insist otherwise. There is no getting around it.

All that being said, I don't see any reason to be upset by or mock this event or the participants. This was effectively a series of friendly pick-up games. There were no salaries or scholarships involved. Nobody was trying to force their way into a situation with an unfair advantage against the wishes of the participants. Isn't this what the culture warriors want? Trans athletes getting their own place to play?

Seems hypocritical to b**** about trans athletes and then **** on it whenever they form their own league, etc.

The goal of people like ATW who spam this type of content is for the concept of transgenderism not to exist anymore. That's why concessions like forming a full transgender league won't do anything as those same people will meme and joke about it while calling it a mental illness even if you implement their "solutions"

The point is that biological males are stronger than biological females. You can't chose your gender, you don't get assigned a gender either. An all trans women league is literally a man's league which already exists... Same for trans men and women's league. Its not that hard to grasp. If you are a dude you should compete with dudes. Its not funny, its backwards.... The problem is politicians pushing their woke agenda and telling these people with a mental illness that its okay that they are women and men when they aren't. Anyone supporting woke politicians are to blame for when someone gets hurt, when people stop supporting the woke movement Democrats will find something else to push their political careers but atleast these people will get the help they need and deserve, not being lied to.

How about you mind your own business and let consenting adults compete with and against whomever they want?

Well I'm not gluing myself to anything in protest but I can point out that the woke movement and politicians pushing this ideology is stupid and toxic. Therefor it is my business because the same people pushing for these disasters are also the ones pushing laws based on the same exact principals and woke mentality. We should all care...

We should care for future generations of girls to have a fair shake…real girls vs self identify (pretend) girls in sports is often not a fair shake

This has always been kind of my issue with some of that community
They will say . . .well .. . we want equality etc
    but
They want the power to change the definition of words.
That is a very strong power.

I watch how marriage changed definition over time.
Started as - Religous ceremony/state of union between a man and woman -- During those time THEY NEVER thought it would be none religious
So when it changed to: - a state of union between a man and a woman - - During this time they NEVER thought of same sex marriage
it became a state of union between two adults. --- While some will say . . .well its always been a union between two people
technically true . . but nuance was there

This Pronoun thing is another one . . .IMO

Marriage has existed for a very long time and it hasn’t been limited to a religious ceremony for a very long time as well. No one is forcing a church to marry a couple they do not want to.

For most of history churches would not marry a couple if they were not both from the same denomination… they wouldn’t marry someone with a child out of wedlock… at one point they would only marry a woman that was a virgin… they wouldn’t marry an interracial couple until the last 75 years… some churches would only marry white people.

There has NEVER been an agreement by all churches on who is definitely qualified to get married and even now, no one is forcing churches to marry people they do not want to.

As for words, groups change how they are defined or described. African Americans have changed terms a number or times… in the 1960’s black scholars battled for the term negro…. Then in the 1970’s it was African American… then black, so have Native Americans … Indians, Native American’s, American Indians, Inuit…and even the general grouping of white people has changed terms over time… Caucasian hasn’t always been the proper term…. We change terms…to be either more specific, more accurate or less offensive…

How we define things changes all the time as well, for example what age we consider someone an adult. How we define someone from Italy or Sicily or Eastern Europe… how we define Moroccans or how they define themselves.

I won’t argue against the idea of addressing someone with the gender pronoun they want is a new change - it is… it also isn’t comfortable having something we assumed was set in stone suddenly changing. Having said that, society isn’t static and change is always happening and we are always challenged as we grow older.

There is no doubt that we are for our general purposes, born with a particular sex and that is manifested by our sexual organs and hormones and differences such as hip spacing, muscle mass and size. That isn’t something I hear contested - even by most transgender people I know. It is science and science doesn’t take positions on social issues - it just “is”.
If that applies to conservatives and conspiracy weirdos that don’t like science because it goes against their beliefs, then it holds true for those that argue sex is a negotiable or contestable premise.

However what is LESS clear is whether we are born with a particular gender or not. I think this is a FAR more debatable position and one that is held by transgender people and is not something that runs afoul of science.

It seems like an arbitrary distinction and was for most of history- but there is a difference and something that needs to be addressed in light of a sizable number of people claims they are transgender and a great number of supporters as well.

They don't care... They are mindless sheep that can't seem to put together why it has a negative impact on this country and on society. Its always going to be the same reaction, "why do you care"... They don't realize how offensive and unfair it is for real women.

Negative impact how? Trans people formed their own league to play pick up games, how does that affect your country and society. What the hell are you even talking about

How does it effect your marriage that gay people can marry?

Always remember Utah's state legislator made an entire bill about transgender people in sports over one single incident in their state... One.

It was so ridiculous that the conservative governor of Utah vetoed it and explained how people could be so cruel to a group of so few people and that is coming from a GOP conservative governor.

This guy is either self-hating or playing a role to make money off of dumb ass Trumpers/Conservatives. It is amazes me why do people care what others do when it doesn’t really affect them. They want the good ole days where white people could basically do whatever they want without respecting different ethnicity, sexuality, beliefs than WASP beliefs. Cops could beat, lock up or even kill because they are the authority and the “suspects” must have been in the wrong. “Karens” would be believed without question. Conservatives can’t handle being exposed and held accountable for things white people used to get away with because of their skin color or “christian” beliefs.

"They" hasn't always been a plural use in the English language. Usage and vernacular is as fluid as the panties getting bunched over the issue.

But I guess it's more fair to argue over ridiculousness of social constructs/norms rather than painting it over by declaring what's natural or god given to win a debate.

I'm a Proud "Person of Color", but I shouldn't say "Colored Person" in public.

    Mind blown...

It is a part of the changing/evolution of language at some parts
Some parts are attempts to high jack language
