Last year signing Ramon Sessions made no sense since they drafted Flynn and Rubio. Obviously Rubio wasn't coming but I still didn't get signing Sessions at the time. Now they sign Ridnour while trying to trade Sessions. Lakers should have been trying to trade for Sessions.
Ramon Sessions was a hot name for many here last summer. I still haven't figured out why. Now the T-Wolves are trying to dump the guy for Luke Ridnour. Any of the Ramon Sessions fans feel like eating any crow? C'mon and admit it. If they want to replace him with a chump like Ridnour, you have to admit Sessions just isn't up to par. You know who you are.
Interesting. While I have absolutely no clue what David Kahn is thinking, I do have a couple of thoughts on the subject: (1) I'm surprised that the T-Wolves (and other teams) are so down on Sessions. I guess he doesn't play any defense. (2) Luke Ridnour is not a scrub. He got a contract that paid him more than his true value, but he is still a pretty good point guard. In fact, I'm glad he may be going to the T-Wolves. I think he would have been a very good fit with the Knicks. Probably just as good (if not better) for them than Felton. And the Knicks could still probably fit Ridnour under the cap. So, better that he stay away from them.
agree with #2, but he can be inconsistent at times...maybe its due to inconsistent PT... Kahn could have had one hell of a young team by now, if he only knew there's 4 other positions in a starting lineup.
I still like Sessions very much. Last year in Minnesota means nothing to me. They have no clue what they are doing. Sessions needs to get 30 minutes a game. He is a very effective player when given minutes.
WojYahooNBA Free agent guard Luke Ridnour is close to accepting a four year, $16 million offer with Minnesota, a league source tells Y!
This makes the Buck weaker in the PG position. Don't be surprised if they they to go are Lowry. He'll have to be a backup but still.
