    except he has no trade value at the moment. Terrence Jones probably has limited, I don't understand trading him now unless it's part of a bigger deal.

    Makes a lot of sense.

    Although Jones was praised as the most NBA ready amongst all our rookies, he is still playing behind two young players who are work in progresses.

    He also has a lower ceiling than D-Mo and White.

    Doesn't really fit the team when all of our 4's are being asked to be able to shoot the 3. Jones is too good of a player to keep in the d-league though, so it makes sense that he is being traded. I like him though so it sucks we are losing him.

    Instead of going to Atlanta & offering Jones in a trade package for Smith, Morey is possibly doing this hoping Atlanta comes to them expressing interest in Jones. That would give the Rockets an advantage in the negotiations.
