Because Rox are now giving FULL attention to completing the trade. Basically shiiit about to go down!!!
Several people here on the board talked for weeks about potential 3 teams deals. I talked about Utah if Hayward resigns. Hell they might still be a team for Ryno. If I'm right and it's Utah, do I get to say I'm an insider too? Portland fits the logic and you can see from a mile away they have young guys like Turner, Harkless, etc. that make up a lot of young salary to go back in a deal.
Either that or he swung a bargain. Although he says "daring gm" so that makes me think risky. My heart and head are all sorts of whacked rn.
They would if Lebron demanded it. Do not discount the banana boat friendship and Lebrons power with that team. If Lebron thinks they are better with Melo than Love, he's a Cavalier. Not saying that's true and I'd rather have Love but if you put yourself in the mind of Steve Mills why wouldn't you say to yourself that let's take our time and see if we can get Lebron to weigh in on the trade. It's no risk to them to wait it out and see what they can find out over the Summer. Again not saying y'all are wrong, but I'm just noting the fact that it's probably going to be a long Summer if you are waiting for a melo deal now today and if you don't think there is a risk of Cleveland figuring out a way to get him or at least make the Rockets bump up their offer.
