lol probably one of those fake second round pick that we never actually receive.

No one is going to give up anything for Melo.

Why not just waive him if they can't find a deal. Nunnally is showing promise as a wide open shooter.

"Morey handcuffed team with CP3" is definitely more annoying than "Tilman is poor".

For the first time I am beginning to agree
We seem to lack a clear direction

Cut 3, and still have 8 dysfunctions?

    That is 11.

Some of the acquisitions in the off season did not pan out. This team has changed up with the in-season moves that the GM has done. It would be sad if players that the coach will actually play during games end up not being with the team for players not being played at all. I am guessing these decisions are based on finances. If the team gets healthy (CP3, Capela and EG back) and the Beard and the current rotation players getting into the playoffs this team will now have depth in ISO players, shooters and rebounders. MDA would have a lot of options on various rotations for a series against the other West teams. I hope somehow House and Nunally can somehow remain with the team.

What's the difference between paying him to sit on the bench and paying him to walk on the street?

This is fantastic. Can you please straighten out my retirement savings while you're at it. And there's 500 people behind me who have the same question.

If we waive him now, aren’t we on hook for his salary till the end of this season anyways. So I guess Morey is trying to dump his salary by the trade deadline give he is still Melo and is expiring.

lulz, btw, I forgot to add that Clark's contract for next year guarantees if we cut him this year. so sad...since, imo, he's the most likely one we can ruthlessly cut from the playoff roster, yet resign this summer.

Only reason I can think is to get off big contracts and clear space for max offers to Durant and Kyrie this summer.

A few weeks ago I was thinking we may have our own James Dolan in our hands but the longer it goes I realize it’s more like a Donald Sterling (without the racism I’m assuming)

Precisely why I think Morey regrets this contract. He was too eager to fill a hole and created a dead roster spot when several were already compromised
