    Bima: By being under the cap, Pelicans could immediately package Gee, Ely, Babbitt and Withey (all NG'teed) for Asik. (Withey may be owed $100k.)

    I would actually want to keep Withey though.

    Yeah. The Rockets may include some minor future considerations to help facilitate a trade, like their own 2nd rounder likely to be nearly worthless. None of the moves listed would require much if any extra incentive to push across.

    Who said Morey isn't good for other GM's. Pelicans are going to come out of this trade with a near All star center, which is one of hardest positions to fill with quality on a roster.
