    Any chance this is another asset to be used in a Kevin Love deal? I wouldn't mind him being the "real prize" that Morey covets. What a "Big 3" that would be.

    Is the 2015 draft supposed to be any good? I hope we don't have to use this pick to dump Lin and can instead use our own pick(s).

    Yeah my thoughts exactly. Its a bit concerning because of the risk but its paid off before. Here's to hoping it does again. But the target must be Melo, if we mess around hoping for LeBron, its a good chance we'll get burned IMO.

    I don't think this means we have either locked up at all, but it does send a message to them that we can clear the space.
    Asik was going to be traded whether or not we get either of those 2 guys. There was no way we were going to keep a disgruntled back-up center for $15 mil this year. We can use the cap space on a # of other players to upgrade, even if we strike out with the big two.

    Pelicans have the 10th pick this draft, but due to send to Sixers. If Asik make them 1 draft spot better then this will be a STEAL trade next draft. But I bet this pick gets traded before the 2015 draft ever happens, just like in the Harden trade.

    I will go out on a limb and say, if the Rockets do trade Lin to clear cap for any insert-player, the last thing on your mind is which pick went out with him. :)

    I doubt this pick stays with us. I think we package it with Jeremy to a rebuilding team. Then that would give us the necessary cap right? Or would we need to carve out a little more still?
