I don't think that's possible salary wise @Reeko, unless i'm missing something we would've to dump Anderson and one between Lou/Pat/Ariza just to max Paul, let's say we keep Ariza since we need a starting 3 and we dump Lou, to sign & trade Millsap we would've no salary to send back to Atlanta unless we trade them Gordon + Pat + basically every young guy we have outside of Capela so...

So much would have to happen for Chris Paul to come here.

I wouldn't discount his possible interest, perhaps, in playing here. But the Clippers can pay him much more $$$ than can other teams.

Anyway, one can dream. I won't hold my breath. I've done that before. Passed out. Woke up with a headache and my eyebrows shaved off.

This is Ty Lawson over again. You'd have to stagger their minutes but how would it work come winning time?

I don't see it, if CP3 is taking less money he'll go to the Spurs.

    My prediction:

Rockets sign Chris Paul to multi-year contract.

The following day, Adam Silver voids the contract, citing "basketball reasons."

Eh, good question, Millsap max should start somewhere in the range of 30/35, but i don't think he will necessarily get/ask for that...however, better if i pass this to @larsv8, i really don't know if the amount of salary to match changes in sign & trade scenarios...

Doesn't seem like a good fit. But, the Rockets are going to go after any players that's considered a star. Whatever.

oh josh hart is a pg? no.

anyways the rockets getting some pg through the draft to come take this team to the next level is delusional, especially without a first round pick to begin with

I have a buddy (who's missing an ear BTW) that is not a good looking dude and he cat calls all the time. He makes me cringe when I'm with him but you know what? One out of every 30 times I see him do it a girl stops and sits down to talk.

    It only takes one.

We already got Dwight though. Using your analogy, the Rockets getting Paul would be the equivalent of your friend bagging a threesome with the Crowley sisters.

Obviously, but just like Lawson CP3 isn't going to be happy standing around waiting to get the ball.

not sure why people think its one way or the other. that's part of the problem. there's plenty of time for both to handle the ball. cp3 has played off ball just fine as ive stated earlier in plenty of minutes when they go to their two guard lineups. and it's been that way when the clips had guys like bledsoe and collison.

    "Hi. Where's your other ear?"

Not every guy can pull that move off.
