Yeah, if the Lakers moved Mozgov (maybe the worst contract in the league) and got Lopez + a 1st rounder for Russell, Parker can definitely be moved.
Harden makes $28 million next year. George will make $19.5 million. Melo will make $26 million. All that together is $73.5 million. CP3's max contract is about $36 million, and since he is the president of the NBAPA, no way he takes a pay cut....would be a terrible precedent for negotiations. So even if we dropped everyone....not going to work.
The rockets should trade for melo before free angency and go get cp3. Cp3 Harden Melo Capela Is a nice core to add role players too. Then next summer you prob get a meeting with Lebron James since cp3 and melo are his best friends and he's pretty close with Harden also.
If Melo is bought out, he'll be signed with a contender's exception. I specified a S&T for CP3, which would be able to get him at least close to the max contract if not all the way there (Anderson, Ariza, Beverley).
