I really wonder what is his value as today, personally i'd say pretty low...few to none teams can play him as a starter due to his poor playmaking (basically only Cavs and Rockets cause of Lebron and Harden), had injuries basically every year, expiring...the Wolves would be a good fit actually, but until they have Teague...i don't see West taking back Teague unless the Wolves sends a 1st round pick for Pat. Personally, i think a couple of second rounders or one with a decent/mediocre young player and you'll get Beverley.
I too think his value is low. Risk aside, it's a - what have you done for me lately - league with lots of available PG talent. There's not a lot of teams he can start for. I think he'll be somewhat forgotten when the dust settles.
tough to say that when he hasn't even gone through the grind of the season in its entirety. so we'll see how well he has recovered. way too many significant leg injuries for the way beverley plays.
But with him, that extra motivation has a propensity to turn into over-zealousness, which leads to injuries. I love Bev, but his injury history definitely takes away from some of the appeal. People say the same thing about CP3, but when CP3 IS healthy, he's one of the greatest to ever play. Unfortunately, Bev's talent doesn't make up for his absence.
he might of got into little gimmick altercations but he never talked about GS the way beverley publicly has.
Dang @Deuce he edited the headline to now "Patrick Beverley is showing ZERO signs of rust post-right knee surgery"
It's a video of Beverley casually walking past stationary "defenders" to lay it in the basket a few times. His knee looks great!
