Dude NEVER rejoice to having JB Bickerstaff as your head coach. However bad it is, it is going to get worse

I actually think Fizdale did pretty solid job up until Conley got hurt (again). But in today's game the star's have too much power. Memphis should've never got rid of Hollins tbh. The problem with these organizations is they focus too much on a coach's personality (ex Kevin Mchale) as opposed to their style of coaching. Fizdale, Sam Mitchell are too coach's that should be still coaching
I don't like this firing...Fizdale wasn't the problem with that team. Memphis is simply a poorly-run organization...that was clear back during the Lionel Hollins years. Fizdale will have a new coaching gig soon, very soon.
Rockets lost to these guys twice.. Just like the Rockets to catch Memphis when they are at their least dysfunctional.
Will any team, right now, fire their current HC and hire Fizdale? Will Fizdale automatically resume being a HC, or will he go for an assistant coach role, first, to ease back into HC'ing? I feel like Fizdale is gonna take the season off and just vacation / relax. LeBron has enough clout / pull within the NBA universe to do whatever the heck he wants, tbh. Hmm, not sure what Gasol turning 33 has to do with anything. It's not like his game is about athleticism.
Marc Gasol got benched in a 7 point game with like 5 minutes left. Yeah. Fiz you don't have enough clout to do that, even if he was in the right (riding the hot hand). Cavs should do it honestly. They are on a winstreak, but it isn't because of Tyronn Lue.
Shocking at first, but on a second thought, not really that surprising. The way the Memphis played, they ain't going to win sh't. It ain't all the coach's fault, but he definitely not helping. Injuries is a key factor, but they have some guys which are really young and can play a little bit up tempo at least, but it never worked out. It will be a sh'tty franchises for years to come.
No playoff team will hire a guy like Fizdale, the guy who got fired before him only got a gig with the sh'tty Kings. If Fizdale will ever be hired again as a HC, expecting some place like that. Bottom line, yes he took a fall but he ain't proved sh't yet either.
As strange as this firing is... I don't watch enough Grizzlies to really make a real, true conclusion on Fizdale as a coach. I think he gets a lot of credit for "take that for data", for keeping the Grizz the same as they've been the last few years, yada, yada. Like... I "feel" like he's probably a solid coach. But I really have no clue, lol.
