Honestly, I don't think the Rockets want him back...this reads like they want him to quit.

If we trade CP3 to the laker for nothing. Not only do we get cap space, we get a 40 million dollar trade exception.

I don't think you understand that Paul came here on the promise he'll get a max deal. As a franchise you have to do it. You can't have the look that you lie or that you don't Make good on promises

I think Harden trusts Morey. No one has adopted Moreyball more religiously than Harden, and he's benefitted so much from it. They must be very similar minded.

Let MDA go or extend him. I'm indifferent about it honestly as long as whoever's in the seat next season understands that ball/player/transition movement was lacking this season.

LOL Daryl finally had the balls to do it and an owner that would let him. Daryl has wanted to pay coaches and employees with low base salary and high incentives for years. He has pushed it for players to the league office too.

If I were MDA I would ask Daryl how incentive laden his contract is.

Just too funny. Daryl getting to be Daryl....

Yeah... if you think Tilman only spent 2 million to get Dana you are wrong.... he has given a huge amount of money to the athletic programs at UH and has paid coaches not to coach.

    Love the way they play.

Nice to have 4 excellent defenders and championship experience. They move the ball well on offense too.

Adrian Griffin - their lead assistant - is a former Rocket coach and very close with Jimmy Butler. Interesting HC candidate imo.

I don't think for a second you don't take back any salary …. but yes , they'd generate a healthy trade exception in most scenario's (Any that generate actual cap space).

The idea that the Rockets are trying to force MDA over $4,000,000 is either absurd or Tilman is insane.

    They definitely have enough personnel.

I also like the way they are pushing tempo.

That's an interesting coaching connection. I'll have to take your word for it, I don't know much about him.

Now let's see if Toronto can sustain this.

Again, why not just move on then? What is the point of having a lame duck coach. To hire an entire staff that will be gunning for his job all year? I wish we were interested in Lue. We are willing to gut the entire team save Harden, yet MDA is untouchable? SMH...

Yes we do... not quite sure why it isn’t obvious to everyone else.
