Woj: "CP3 has his focus on recruiting LeBron (to HOU) as much anything he's done in this league."

Hope he's not looking for a role that requires him to create for himself or others at a higher rate cause...

Eric Gordon has high value, Nene contract is bad plus has personal ties to Ariza, Harden this is tough. Chinanu, Ryan Anderson need to be moved

This scenario would never happen if CP3 and LeBron can get supermaxes with the team if LBJ simply opts in.

Right, it's extremely unrealistic in my opinion but it is possible.

This analysis is spot on! LeBron is his own market, not the city he plays in. So, that piece doesn't matter. Plus, I have not heard this take anywhere yet, so I'll go ahead and throw it out. Why would he want to go to a place where one of the players who He is frequently compared to Jordan with played??? This is why I think LeBron will never go to La. The media will hype up La just because that is where most of their offices are. It's where they want him to go. But because Kobe Bryant played there, I don't think LeBron will go there. Just like he will never go to Chicago because Jordan played there. He will go somewhere where he can make an impact that no other player has had (at his positions, yes I know The-Dream is still going to be the greatest player in Houston)

I see CP3 doing the LeBron recruiting, but the guy who actually needs to ask LeBron to come and join the Rockets is Harden. After all, Harden has been the face of the franchise for the past 6 years.

Ask and you may get it.

Chris Paul was reportedly to opt out last year and you saw how that ended up

Where was that said? I didn't hear it in the attached video.

My suspicion is that, as with Chris Paul a year ago, it's a matter of semantics and folks assuming that LeBron being somewhere other than Cleveland must occur through opting out.

I still wouldn't be shocked if Paul and/or James took a 1-year paycut. Not saying I think they will. Just would not be surprised.

Yep the conversation is basically made off of the assumption that he will opt out

That’s what it sounded like to me at least. Didn’t listen to all of it

If true, i see it as a push for the Cavs to trade him if they want any value in return
