I really like his potential, my goodness. Let's see how he looks in 2 years! Either he gets motivated to work hard or he'll wash out but if he pans out this could be HUGE!

Yes!!11 He's only 19 years old. Great pick up!!! Now let's go after Vince Hunter and Corey Hawkins!!!!
He beasted in their win against then undefeated Arizona. To the tune of 24pts, 10rebounds, 2blks, 1 asst.
This guy must have really done bad in the interview portion with prospective teams because he does not lack talent. Wood is really fluid for a guy that tall.
Dang. I'd never seen this kid play before we picked him up. Considering how good he looks on film and how good his numbers were, he must have said some seriously off putting things in his interviews. He sort of reminds me of former Rocket Carlos Rodgers. Rodgers also never hit his otherworldly potential -- here is hoping Wood can.
Wood needs a mentor to guide him on and off the court. The problem is that these young guys think they have all the answers. The talent is there. It is all about the stuff over the shoulders.
Living in Vegas, I have seen him quite a bit. He has a couple of somewhat major issues in that he is immature and soft. He is not a bad kid, and he got good maybe a little too fast for his own good. He would have REALLY benefitted from another year or two in college. He is very talented and very raw. I don't know if he will make it or not, but if he had continued on the same trajectory he was on for another year, he would have been a certain lottery pick. I like him. UNLV was just gutted by injuries this year, and he had to assume a bigger role than he was probably ready for. Not getting drafted may be exactly the eye opener that he needed. If he can grow from it, he could be a really nice player, but it's going to take him two years in my opinion. He needs to toughen up all around but the skills are all there.
