I wonder if they will retire his number? Also will Rockets retire his number?

The Lakers seem to be his only option, and that too appears to be somewhat remote.

    Great trade!
Thunder save 1.5 million payroll and 7.4 million tax

    1.5 million payroll = 7.4 million tax
    About 5 times, scary!

What if nobody picks him up? I mean, NOBODY, regardless of price.

That would be a sad, sudden end to a Hall of Fame career.

He has been waived two times this season, one more time? NBA record?
He has been traded two times this season.
Very low cost @ 0.9 million
Nobody wants to spend this money?

If his career is really over, should we go ahead and hang his jersey banner in the Toyota Center now?

It would be sad. Melo was a terrific scorer, but unfortunately not much else. I don't think he should be in the HOF, but Tracy didn't do much more either.

    Hakeem on the Raptors
    Yao on the OR table
Barkley at the Chacho’s at 3am

Every hall of fame career has a sad and sudden end.

Except Vince Carter, Dirk Nowitski, and Tim Duncan, who played until age 90.

I'm thinking Morey will sign him again now, this time for less than the vet min. This whole protracted saga was just a way to save Tilman a few hundred luxury tax dollars.

    Amiright, @Carl Herrera?
