How many seconds would the Celtics fans give up for Harden? I'm thinking that 2 is fair, but only if they get an expiring contract back.
Why do you think this is even possibility? When was the last time Morey got owned in a big trade? Please don't say the Westbrook deal because even Miami wanted picks FROM OKC to take CP3.
We need help, but I don’t like what we are doing yet. I would be willing to go with Hardenstein if we get an above average starting small forward and powerforward.
relax...I’m just giving my opinion of that ridiculous tweet I just saw no, I don’t think it’s a possibility because I don’t believe Morey has recently suffered brain damage, has family members being held hostage, or Boston and Memphis GMs have his sextape
for a half year rental to boot, that trade shows grizzlies getting kanter and a FRP for him as well. Crazy
A 2 team Houston/Boston deal seems a bit unlikely. Morey and Ainge will both want good deals and there may not be common ground. The Celtics don't need another injured player. Unless Capela's injury status is not so severe and he can help pretty soon, that will be a factor. Boston's centers have been solid and have not cost them games. If they're healthy at center, they'll be ok at the position, and a non-superstar upgrade that costs a lot won't happen. Boston has been refusing to part with their core 5 players. That includes Hayward and Smart, as well as the obvious- Kemba, Tatum, and Brown. They would part with some of these players for certain guys, but almost surely not in this situation. If the Rockets are dead set on moving Capela by the deadline, another team might outbid Boston, who is most likely to offer a modest package of players and picks. So, the most probable way this deal could happen is if a third team is involved that will add in more value to satisfy the Rockets. Minnesota is one mentioned candidate for that.
I sincerely hope that Capela doesn't end up on your team. He's better than any player Boston would give up for him. Your assets are mediocre. The ones that are good won't be given up by Ainge. Tatum and Brown are the only players on your team that are actually as good as the media pretends like they are. Smart is great but he's great for Boston and not necessarily as effective on any other team. Kemba < Kyrie I hate anytime the Rockets are mentioned with talks involving the celtics because I have to read countless trade ideas that are so absurdly one sided.
I know. But still much better size than Harty. MDA finally can have a guy with the right size to back up Tucker at the center spot.
