Not sure why OKC take CP3 since they are rebuilding mode. I am guessing because of salary match.

How do you feel about the trade?

I've got a feeling Morey isn't done trading.

    Some fans here Lol...

    Remind me of Harden trade:

    "Noooooo, we want Kevin Martin...
    ......
Bad trade.... Jeremy Lamb is our future star..."

    Lmao.

They won't be playing together as much as you guys think.
The rotation will be similar to last year's. Russ will come out of the game and James will be the primary ball handler. James will come of the game and Russ will be running the team.
You guys know this $hit. Yeah, Russ can't shoot, but he now has teammates that can.
I'm really looking forward to seeing James and Russ play with Tuck at the 5.
No one in the paint. This is like last year's offense on steroids.

We're still not done yet. I think we still add another wing and a backup big.
Would like Winslow or RoCo, but do we have the pieces to get them?
I'm not sure. I'd prefer to keep whatever 1st we still have.
Thabo and Tyson sound like winners for vet min.

That's an awfully undersized starting 5.

They are probably after Iggy or Covington.

Finally made it through 53 pages of reading.

I withhold judgement and put trust in our front office, because that's all I can do.

What's interesting, is morey staggered the picks in a way that is telling. He is going for more and left his options open for the next couple seasons.

He kept 2020, and 2022 1st rd picks to be tradable to go along with pick swap rights available in 2023.

Is anyone worried about Westbrook on defense? We are going to see a pretty major drop off even from old CP3 to Westbrook. Reading through that thread I linked reminded me a lot of how Harden played defense a couple years ago. Maybe he can have the epiphany that Harden had on defense last year.

    I'll hope for the best.

I'm not sure where you are going with your responses. I didn't post randomly. I was responding to a post saying that Westbrook is still a superstar. I mentioned that he hasn't played like one recently and might not impact like a superstar himself, but he also could with a change, etc. What else is there to say? There's nothing controversial or incorrect about what I posted. Unless you want me to say he is 100%, definitely been playing like a superstar recently, which just wouldn't be true.

Kenny Smith says Houston now has better backcourt then even a healthy Golden state and Rex Chapman now has us tied with the Lakers, Clippers and Philly as the best teams in the league.

It's different when you have 2 MVP caliber players playing selflessly with one another....they needed each other.

I can see them taking turns feeding each other. Let's just hope for the best. We're in a better position than what we were 24 hours ago

I dun think our chances in the Playoffs skyrocketed but IMO they made the trade to keep James Harden happy.

But if it doesn't work out, both guys can bolt to an LA team.

It prolonged his stay in Houston.
