    Just another team where Westbrook will be stuck with no hope. I can't imagine Westbrook + Jimmy + decent depth going anywhere. Maybe Semi conference final assuming Jimmy and Westbrook don't butt heads.

    Pretty much has to be a 3 team deal. I’m sure OKC wants cap relief. Given that Miami is just $900k under the apron, another team will have to absorb salary.

    Also - Miami will be a 7 or 8 seed with Russ/Butler. No shooting. Lakeshow 2.0.

    Whatever, I've already accepted that nothing is happening this off-season for us after Morey struck out so many times.

    We're just going to run it back with a worse team (less role players returning and older age) and have another 2nd round exit.

    It has less to do with Riley and more to do with Miami just being a much better city to live in than Houston.

    If the Rockets can get involved to nab Winslow or Derrick Jones, Jr, that would be great. But Oklahoma City would likely just keep them.

    My thoughts and prayers are with the Miami Front Office. I support their quest to bring Westbrook to Miami. I would rejoice if that happens because it means two things:

    1. Westbrook isn't coming to Houston (HOORAY!)
    2. We get to watch Butler and Westbrook duke it out over who is going to be the alpha. That's going to be so much fun.

    The Heat stated they would have interest in Russell Westbrook as soon as the first report of the Paul George trade.

    I love WOJ but this isn't a WOJ bomb..... this was already known.

    Westbrook going to Miami is good for the Rockets, want to keep him out of the Western Conference.

    He is a bad fit for the Rockets.

    The Rockets would be better off going after someone like Iguodala, Oubre or Gallinari.

    This is somewhat problematic for MIA. OKC is not paying the luxury tax for a bottom-feeder and would want to cut down their 2019 salary obligations in any Westbrook deal. MIA wouldn't be able to help them out in a straight up trade because of the hard cap.

    However, if you include a third team like DAL, then MIA can solve all of OKC's problems.

    Trade:
    Winslow, Dragic, Herro, 2023 MIA 1st (change to be fully unprotected) to OKC
    Kelly, DJJ to DAL
    Westbrook, Patterson to MIA
