he can start but i'd like to see him keep his regular season minutes down under 30. i'm thinking 28mpg for CP3. assuming we keep clint i agree about going for a SF (or a PF with tucker sliding back to SF) so ego doesn't have to play out of position. i also prefer ego as our 6th man. i'd target the morris twins, JaMychal, Justin Holiday, and Jeff green with the remainder of the MLE i believe marcus and JaMychal will probably be out of our price range.

then with the BAE i'd look for another stretch 4. Maybe toliver, dudley, or jerebko. Then give me one more vet min contract to add size behind capela with either McGee, Koufos, Gortat, Chandler, or Noah.

End by bringing in Shumpert on a 1/13M deal to be traded later. Should look like this on opening day:

yeah i think that ship has sailed with the Cs getting kanter. although to play devil's advocate, they got kanter for the room exception and likely he can come off the bench. he's not so expensive that you have to start him.

 

he doesnt exactly have suitors lining up at the door for him. the rockets gave faried's career some life despite what happened in the playoffs.

 

me too. but again, kanter isn't so expensive, or so good, that you have to start him. capela is definitely a better starter and definitely worth getting out of the hayward contract for him. i'm not sure the rockets would want to do it after losing out on jimmy.
