Everyone's getting a max deal these days. Including Parsons.

[rQUOTEr]'Noah outlines priorities in weighing free agency options'

Joakim Noah has a specific priority list in mind as he weighs his free agent options along with his agent Bill Duffy.

Noah wants a chance to win first and foremost.

Noah then would like a chance to both start and finish games, as well as play for a team to support his Noah's Arc Foundation.

A source said the viewpoint that Noah will chase the best offer is “naïve.’’

“They obviously don’t know Jo’s make-up,’’ the source said.

Noah has reportedly ruled out re-signing with the Bulls.[/rQUOTEr]

People thought Pau Gasol was washed up. It turns out it was because he was playing 3rd fiddle on the Lakers + injuries.

Joakim Noah is still just 29. He's been injured the last couple of seasons, but if healthy and with playing time, he'll still give you 15/10 comfortably. I wouldn't pay him max, but he'll easily get $12-14m/yr.

If it's true, $18 million per year is way too much money for Noah.

Means Dwight is thanking the man upstairs knowing how much more he will make now. Probably way more than 10-15M a year

I mean if Jo is healthy you know he's gonna play hard. He's a great passer and a good rebounder to boot. If he's healthy and you get 70+ games 30+ minutes per, he's worth that IMO.

What's really crazy is thinking Noah will be healthy, able to play 75+ games and also be effective in the playoffs.

You can probably stick a fork in this guy. I will be surprised if he has one good year left.

Knicks are also rumored to be interested in Eric Gordon.

Rose, Gordon & Noah, the most Knicksian summer ever.

Just how exactly are they expecting to develop Porzingis?

    Sam Amick:

Noah to NY isn't done, but I'm told the fourth year of the $72 mil deal - as currently discussed - would be guaranteed.

I like Noah as a player, but what the hell? Dude has missed 15+ games in SIX of the last seven seasons. Why put that kind of money on a guy until age 35 when poor health is a guarantee and he just came off a season where he scored 4 points per game on 39% shooting as a big man?
