With OKC getting Melo, are we even a top 4 seed in the West?

    We can also look at it like. Harden won't play like that again. Anderson or Gordon get injured a lot.

    Another thing too is okc will need consistent attacking all 48 minutes. When Westbrook go cold they need Melo hot from 3 and George atracking 48 minutes non stop. That's literally the only way.

    My tiers would be

    Tier 1 - Warriors
    Tier 2 - Houston, San Antonio, OKC. (OKC moves into this tier with the Melo trade. :mad: Frustrating. )
    Tier 3 - Minnesota, Portland, Denver, LAC
    Tier 4 - Utah, Memphis, New Orleans
    Tier 5 - Lottery

    I could see this okc experiment not working. Cp3 really wanted to come play with harden. Pg13 isn't KD. He won't just let Russ crank up the last shot every time. (In my opinion)

    The fact that the Rockets wouldn't include draft picks or Ariza or Gordon tells us all we need to know about how the Rockets view Anthony.

    Cleveland wouldn't trade Tristan Thompson for Melo.

    He just isn't that good anymore.

    33 years old and has 55 million dollars come to him over the next two years.

    how many more games does the rockets win (in addition to 55) with CP3, Tucker, and LMM?

    how many more games does the thunder win (in addition to to 47) with PG3 and Melo

    Other teams improved. I'm just saying we may not be as good as we had all assumed. We all thought we had the 2 seed on LOCK. CRUISE CONTROL BABY. All I'm saying is to just be prepared if that is no longer the case.

    I understand that we were 2nd seed with Harden and CP3
    then OKC improved making them 2nd seed
    who else improved besides OKC that we suddenly dropped to 4th?

    His threads get a lot of clicks.

    Clicks generate revenue for the site.

    This is the only reason he's allowed to start threads I would assume. We joke about him being a Mavs fan, don't know if that's really true or not. What I do know is that he's not a Rockets fan. He never posts in any of the game threads, and most of his topics are click bait and rarely positive in nature.

    We should just get the 8th seed play the warriors in first round and get it over with. Save the fans some money and time of watching 2 rounds of pointless basketball.
