    If we wanted to trade for Melo couldn't we just dump them Anderson?
    I don't believe this coz of D'antoni but it's not like it will be difficult to do. In fact they better throw in KOQ as compensation.

    Momentum is there in the reports for Melo. Wex and Feigen (both pretty connected) are giving indications the Rockets think they will get Melo.

    I really hope it's a buyout.

    Not quite. Would take a little more salary.

    Example: Ryan Anderson, WIltjer, Onuaku and Taylor would get the deal done.

    The USA basketball Melo would obviously be a huge get.
    The NYK Melo would be really weird fit.
    George is preferable.
    And George via trade and Melo for minimum after buyout would be crazy.

    is a crazy interesting lineup. The weak link of that lineup is actually MDA. Can he handle that? Can he make them play defense? or is CP3 the coach anyway, lol?

    Why not both? Trade for PG13 and sign Melo if theres a buyout. Even if PG13 leaves next year wont we still have enough for another max? Banana Boat???

    It won't be a buyout unless Melo takes a huge discount.
    Which I find very difficult to imagine happening.

    Don't see a way they can get George but I guess never say never. I'd think they'd like to keep Ariza & Gordon and they traded most of their other assets. Anderson's salary remains. Anderson for 'Melo?
