Well, it was Ray Allen who saved the Heat from losing in 2013, not Lebron. 2012 Spurs didn't benefit from the shortened season, too many games packed into a short period of time. 2011 Spurs lost to Memphis round one...really unlucky round 1 matchup, they weren't prepared for how good Memphis was. Had they not lost, I think they would have wiped the floor with OKC & Dallas who they owned during the regular season those years. And Miami wasn't good yet, they would have dominated them in the finals that year. Historically speaking for those 4 years the Spurs were a much better team than Miami. But in the end Miami got two titles, and also didn't have any real competition in the East besides the dilapidated Celtics and the up and coming Pacers.
So who hit all those shots in the 4th to get Miami back into G6, before Allen hit his shot to tie the game? Then who hit or assisted on all those shots in OT and actually hit the shot to win the game? Then who dominated G7? I guess Kenny Smith saved the Rockets from losing in 95.
****ing jinx thread. Thanks OP. We've whooped the Spurs for the past 6 or so games until this thread popped up.
