Our coach, Capela can’t play 30 minuets while Ariza can’t play less then 35 minuets on any given night. Healthy or not, playing sorriest or best team, early, mid season or deep in the playoffs his rotations stay true to him.

Well he is going to have to learn how to with the way the NBA has F'ed us with this schedule. Back 2 backs should only be allowed if they are both home games. Fly out to Charlotte to come home and play a game against a tough conference rival? They started the season earlier yet our schedule we started off with a back to back and played one after a 4 hour flight? F' Silver....

Ariza's increased minutes coincide with his MASSIVE decrease in production this year.

He needs to play 25 minutes maximum.

    Play Troy Williams some.

with all these injuries, we need to serious extend the rotation, hope Mr. tony knows bench players need to step up when starters are injured, plain and simple, what's the point of having 15 guys on your team when you will only play 9 people regardless of how many of them are injured.....

So we basically ran a 7 man rotation out there, with Nene only playing 10 minutes. I really don't get MDA, say what you want but he's not the brighest of the bunch. Tarik did excellent against Embiid last time and Nene is injury prone so why not use him?
Then there's the case of Ariza still struggling, so play Mbah 30-35 minutes since the guy is also just coming back from injury! I'm past the idea of Troy playing, he's in the doghouse.
Lastly we have Bobby Brown who did well in his two games and of course we cut Canaan and Bobby goes back to the bench. Is he playing games here with Morey or something??

COY curse or whatever it is, I have little faith in D'Antoni going forward.

agree on all points here (it's hard not to). but we all know pringles has been like this his entire coaching career. including morey, who also knows damn well that CP3 and EGO will never play 82 games each. morey absolutely should not get a pass for leaving this team with only 2 nba caliber guards on the active roster the past 7 games. WTF is he thinking?

What are the names of the assistant coaches?

Can anyone get to them and gently tell them that some observe that the 14 man roster of the Rockets are not being used to the detriment of the team. The regular season has just begun but already is already taking its toll on the athletes. Tell them in the hope of the word reaching coach D'Antoni. Of course, with due respect, express condolence to coach D'Antoni for the passing of his father.

Especially when the team is currently beset with injuries, those outside of the 8 players who are getting regular playing time are not being used despite them being healthy and at that available, raring to go, aching to prove to coach D'Antoni that they deserve the chance of showing him and the team what they can do.

I dont get it, ¿Nothing in our numbers say anything about overuse?

I think we are shorthanded, it´s the moment to play fresh legs a few minutes.

You think that with Mike's system relying on pace and shooting he'd be eager to keep guys fresh so they can go 100 percent .

    I just don't get it .

Is the rest of our roster that bad !?

I know the rest of our roster wasn't that bad last year ... But he did it anyways .

It's a Dantoni thing ... And you know what they say about not being able to teach an old dog new tricks.

I feel like Mike thinks anyone who isn't an established vet doesn't deserve pt .

Last year he was basically forced to play Dekker and Harrell and they performed really well as young players ... Then in the postseason and down the stretch he didn't play them at all . I know Dekker got hurt an an inoportune time ... And Nene took over for Harrell ... But there was no creativity to find those guys some minutes .

That's the thing with Mike . No creativity . It's all 3's , layups , pace ... And when the game doesn't flow like that , we crumble .

Ariza has clearly lost a step ... To be effective he really needs to be giving it his all the whole time . He needs to play about 25 minutes max .

Hey , that's ok we have 2! Guys in Tucker and moute that can easily pick up his minutes ... Well since Paul is out ... Instead of expanding the rotation and playing Bobby for a few minutes , he puts Luc at the 2 !!!

While he's not out of position defensively , he doesn't have the shot creating skills we need. In that lineup with James/Eric and Ariza , Tucker , moute , and a center ... We only have one creator on the floor ... The same ****ing problem that ultimately ended our season last year .

A random CF'er could do as good of a job as Mike has done this year .

Even an untrained eye can make the connection between having juice in your legs and shooting ... Apparently Mike cannot.

In short Mike will remain who he is.

Which is a shame and if true we won't win outside of the players just performing incredibly well .

    The best coaches adapt.

Pop is the goat for that reason.

Hopefully Chris can speak some sense into him .
