A bit, but not as much as some try to make it out to be. His home run playmaking ability completely outweighs it though.
You failing to understand what I say, or failing to understand that I'm right in what I say doesn't mean anything I say is ridiculous. When you throw up the 1 example of the entire preseason where Fuller makes a non body catch and then use a #SmallHands after it you are suggesting that the small hands criticism is invalid.....yet there's a better example during the same game of him dropping a pass that hits him in the hands and he's had a few of those in other preseason games. His small hands and his tendency to make body catches is a valid criticism and it doesn't go away when he makes 1 good catch.
It was in college, but he made up for it in other ways. And who says he can't improve He wasn't a top 5 pick, so there were going to be weaknesses. The other wrs who were available are slow compared to him
Looks like a great pickup who will be able to add another dimension to our offense. He still makes the body catches but he is a rookie who happens to have elite speed.
He had the highest drop rate in this year's class. Last night's drop was his first drop of the preseason I believe. There was also a bullet in the end zone in another game that hit him in the hands but that would have been a tough catch. Whatever it is, his ability to blow past his defender adds a whole other dimension to this offense.
I think Fuller only had one drop this pre-season... or only one that was noticeable Other than that, he's been excellent and far exceeded my expectations
Ohhhh... 3 anti's, not 2. I was just giving Will his props and saying a made a good non-body catch. The responses of my being "defensive" and "ridiculous" threw off the context of the responses.
Was I the only one thinking "Hurry up & kick the PAT" after his TD catch because it looked like he slightly bobbled that one too?
Can someone please post some of Calvin Johnson drops, T. Owen's and several other great receivers who led the NFL in drops at one point. Dude going to drop a few but will have his share of big plays as well.
This is almost as bad as the BE-SF fan comparing Mariota to Aaron Rodgers, Peyton Manning, and John Elway. Don't be that guy.
This is not a comparison to their greatness dude. Just examples of elite receivers who led the damn NFL in drops. Damn dude you're always bugging.
It is a comparison though. Using hall of famers who had drops to defend another player who has drops only matters if you think this player can make up for his drops the way those examples did.
