As I have reported, Manafort didn’t just represent oligarchs tight with the Kremlin. He became business partners with them. He ran a private equity fund in which the aluminum magnate (and Putin pal) Oleg Deripaska invested millions. As the Washington Post has shown, this fund didn’t exactly do much investing. In fact, Manafort struggled to account for the cash he received. And rather than pay back Deripaska, he apparently went underground. In 2014, Deripaska’s lawyers noted, “It appears that Paul Manafort and [his business partner] Rick Gates have simply disappeared”: Manafort’s vanishing became a joke in certain Republican circles. So why has Manafort suddenly felt comfortable re-emerging into public view? How did he square his debts with Putin’s ally?

I am not some child who thinks the world is rosy place. Trump can play the Hillary is crook card.... But how is Trump not a crook? Why would a shady businessman turn into a shining, hero of a politician?

I will again say I am not a fan of Trump. However what criminal or borderline criminal charges have been brought against Trump? Trump is no doubt a ruthless business person who has no love for the little people.

Contrast to Hillary who constantly circumvents every rule that blocks her way. If she was not a high profile politician, she would have been charged a long time ago.

She has had literally hundreds of millions of dollars spent on investigating her....other than a bunch of slackjawed high school grads like yourself lustily bellowing "lock her up" they have yielded what we in the legal business call "f-k all"

I could google it.... But does fraud count as criminal charges? Trump University? Pretty sure fraud is criminal.

That sounds exactly like Trump. He knows how to play the court system, how many cases are out against him ? 1000+? He knows how to play the corporate bankruptcy system. How much money does he actually have since he won't release his tax records?

You can try and delude yourself all you want but Trump supported Hillary in 2008 and changes public policies (if you want to call it that) like you change your drawers.

I have no problem voting for Hillary when Trump is the opponent.

 

First off criminal charges were never brought against Hillary Clinton. She was investigated by the FBI but never charged.

Trump has also been under criminal investigation, although not by the FBI. He was investigated by the Manhattan DA over fraud in a condo case. He settled the case and the plaintiffs in the civil suit dropped their cooperation with the criminal investigation.

On the subject of the emails I hardly find that DNC doesn't like Bernie Sanders or Trump to be shocking revelations.

Folks acting like leaked RNC emails would show the GOP to be the party of morals and upstanding citizens. Both parties are full of it.
