Houston was NOT one of the 3 teams on his trade wish list which means he hella wasn't interested in signing an extension in Houston and would only come begrudgingly as a rental. (As it turns out, bc the twolves owner/coach were pus^ies we couldn't even get a rental deal). Even though he was dealt to a team not on his wish list, the fact that his hometown-area Houston Rockets were NOT on that list, that's ALL you need to know about this Tomball kid.
Anyone willing to trade for this diva clown is a delusional fool. It is obvious this dude is a egocentric fool. He believes he is better than what he is... and wants to play in a system with pick and rolls and Isos. No way we bring him here..... with his history of being a sore b***ch, diva, substantial injury history, take the ball out of Harden and cp3 just to make him happy, and then give him the max. I am good. He can take that BS somewhere else. Give me Beal, Love, Or someone who actually makes us better.
Gee... Tomball Jimmy is already having issues with his new team - what a shocker...lol I told y'all this dude is a jerkwad... Folks can dress it up as 'he just wants to win' all they want... but the dude has issues everywhere he goes - he's a spoiled brat... Yet folks wanna give up assets and mortgage the future to throw that dudes attitude into the mix... thats a hard pass!
he didnt want to go anywhere where he wouldnt be the undisputed main guy - he wanted a crappy team with unproven players so he could be in charge and get his way... The Knicks... lol... who tries to push their way to the Knicks? lol
Why did the asking price go up? His value is down from when we tried to acquire him. Harden for Butler would require them throwing in some serious assets and even then...HELL NO! EG and PJ is also too much. EG and some picks, maybe.
No disrespect for you intended, but I find it beyond mind boggling to even suggest that Harden should be traded for Jimmy Butler. He is a fine player and a strong defender, but he cannot carry the team like James Harden. The Houston Rockets are at their best when Harden and Chris Paul are playing together at a very high level.
I am getting wary of Jimmy Butler, he hasn't be satisfied everywhere he went. You could say he is ultra-competitive but he could also be a major distraction in the locker room, something you dun want on a harmonious team. I always thought he was Paul George without those long arms but Paul George has proven this year he is on another level. And much better team mate to boot. #A-lister
it didn't go up, it went down! those were my comments at the beginning of the season and have since changed my mind. hardens' untradeable. he's gone to the next level like when hakeem did. i posted that oct. 10th and since corrected it, read my other comments in succession. glad to be wrong!
I'm going to pull a basketballholic since i still think there's a chance Butler ends up here at some point. Don't get fooled here, Jimmy knows what he's doing, he knows how he's going to be labelled if things like this one come out. But there's a reason why he's doing this, he wants to win, and he knows he can't do that in Philly with Embiid and Simmons, they just don't fit well together, on and off the floor. I expect the Rockets to explore a trade for him soon unless Morey can trade for Kawhi which is unlikely but not impossible. I don't know what we're going to offer eventually, but considering what Morey was willing to move two months ago, i'd say we won't offer more than three picks or one and Capela.
Hardens game would be lesss without a capella. If you trade him you need someone who can do the things Capela can do on the cheap. One of the reasons why we were so bad is that they went away from the pick and roll and Capela wasnt playing like himself.
Morey may never care much for chemistry however this is too much. I say we skipped a bullet not having a cancer paid max money
