I'm wondering if that's due to his back injury/surgery? And if so can it be corrected or is this always going to be a problem. Because when he has the ball he seems really smooth, driving to the hoop and getting dunks but when he's out on the break running without the ball he looks really stiff and slow which is strange to me for how fluid he looks when the ball is in his hands.
Of course you are. So you're gonna start harden at the 2, dek at the 3 and anderson at the 4? Lmfao let's just let the oppnonent score so we can get the ball back faster
You are what you can guard. Dekker would get roasted by most 3s, not to mention guards. Right now he's a small ball 4, which is exactly what this team needed. He could mature into a 3, but I don't think he's there yet. And I am high on Dekker.
Trying to be the 1990-91 Denver Nuggets. Pace at 113+. Score 119.9 per game but allow 130.8. Though that season did net the Nuggets Mt. Mutombo in the draft.
The basketballholic dream team: Ricky Rubio Seth curry Sam dekker Kyle wiltjer Cole Aldrich 6th man: Isaiah Canaan
Well for the sake of comparison, Chase Budinger was one of your favorites, and you used to push hard for him to get more minutes. If we look at the draft measurements in terms of speed, you will notice these two are actually fairly similar. Lane Agility: Sam Dekker - 10.71s Chase Budinger - 11.08s 3/4 court sprint: Sam Dekker - 3.28s Chase Budinger - 3.24s
What really 'kills' is the fact that people compare to this guy to Parsons lol.... Maybe in another life time. Leave 'racial' only comparisons out the door lady's & gents. They are not even close in terms of speed and overall ability.
I am not ready for Dekker to start, because I think on the Rockets, Ariza's defense (even if it has declined some) is important to the team. However.....I AM ready for Dekker to get the backup SF minutes. Brewer/KJ can take a seat. And from there we can see how Dekker progresses.
