I probably should have said Watson team in hindsight. Not really sure of their geographic origin but for some reason MEA stuck out.
What about meeting them made you think they know what they are doing? Did they demo any of their healthcare stuff to you?
I got the whole works demoed to me including Chef Watson (in fact the breakfast that was served was conceived by Chef Watson). I met with the head of Watson [some geographical region], and their press liaison in Ireland. MEA sticks out but it could have been Europe. They seemed to me to be capable, intelligent human beings--and all of them were responsible for technology that blew my mind. Watson sometimes gets a bad rap in some circles for just combining best-in-kind technologies from a whole bunch of fields, but I personally love those kind of innovations.
As a software consultant who has been to different fortune 500 companies ranging from retail to finance, I don't have too much hope for a computer governed society. Too much knowing what's inside the making of that sausage.
