If even questioning the effectiveness of Harden as a pg makes you some LOF - then count me in with Calvin Murphy and the rest of the Lin fanboys... Harden is NOT a superstar. His has not led this team to anything yet. What he is is a supremely talented offensive player who is primed to take that "next level". He needs to work on his defense and learn to trust his teammates more before this team will win a championship. He has all the necessary talent to become a superstar. Just needs to focus more on defense and teamwork.
Which one of these players is a superstar? Top: Spoiler Kevin Durant Bottom: Spoiler Dan Haren..err..James Harden
IMO then the people reacting so negatively to it should get banned as well lol. You don't give it attention, and it'll just disappear in the wind. It's more along the lines of "You don't like what I like (or vice versa), you hurt my ego and self-esteem, you must be banned".
Shot selection is the biggest Key. Lebron knows when to make the right plays. Harden has all the passing skills and court vision Lebron has, but the court awareness of his teammates is still not there. Tmac, Lebgron continuesly made others better.
at this point he hasn't done more than gilbert arenas at his prime. that's it. he has the talent, no doubt. but does he have what it takes to take his team all the way there? don't know. he's still young, though, so there's promise.
Really bad thread as I'm sure everybody has already pointed out, you can definitely argue that Harden isn't a superstar but him being a 'former 6th man' has nothing to do with.
Harden is not a top 10 player. As in, there are at least 10 other players I would rather have for one year than Harden. Harden needs to develop, and he needs real coaching.
LOL at this Rockets team being lottery fodder w/o Harden. They would still make the playoffs if you replace Harden with a league average SG. They made the playoffs last year with the same role players and no Dwight but I guess they are a lottery team with no Harden and Dwight....I guess Harden >>>>>> Dwight
Why? At least they support the Rockets. It's more like "I'm going to trash everyone in the organization to prop up my favorite player."
Why are people arguing about semantics? It all depends on your definition of what a true "superstar" is. Some of you think it's somone who is efficient and is a exceptional offensive threat. Some of you, including myself, think it should be someone who is offensively talented but can also bring it on both ends of the court. No amount of debating about who is wrong or right is going to resolve this. Lastly, from my personal experience...it helps tremendously and is so much more less frustrating and annoying when you focus on what is said as opposed to who says it.
these LOFSBCS (lin only fan straw man bashing conspiracy specialist) are much more annoying than any other fans. this is not even a lin post. are you guys all 13?
