You guys shouldn't sleep on Savage. He is good when he's in the game. Starting him would be better than you think.
I'm going to sleep on him until he finally throws a TD in a game that matters. He's now played in 5 games with nearly 100 pass attempts and he has a 0/1 TD/int ratio. He's young so he could rapidly improve in an off-season, but there was a lot to not like about him when he's gotten time in the past. That said, at least he's not a distraction.
It was a mixed bag. He absolutely had a much better grasp of the entire playbook which helped things on offense and the no interceptions thing was awesome.....but the team still struggled to get into the end zone. In the time he played until he got hurt the Texans had 3 total TD's in those 3 games and all of them came via the run game. Basically better still wasn't good.
Seriously, in the old days of Clutchfans, bobbythegreat would be rightfully forced off from these forums after such idiotic posts.
Let's face it, if people were forced off the board for "idiotic posts" then there would be about 5 people left. Sure, I made a mistake by posting a picture that merely looked like Kap but wasn't actually him, but my larger point stands and the knuckle draggers who are trying to make this about race are really the people who are idiots.....but I've sort of come to expect that level of thought around here lately.

It was an honest mistake....and no where near as bad as suggesting that the Texans sign Kap or half of the brain dead hot takes we see here in the Texans forum on a daily basis. On top of that, my main point was still accurate and valid and your position is still wrong.....so there's that.
You need to be more careful. This is how the fake news gets started. Someone sees your post and the next thing you know people are reporting it as fact.
It does....at least to the point that most people didn't dispute it was him. Also, it doesn't change the fact that my main point was still accurate and valid. I know that "special" people might focus on that instead of the substance of what I've said, but those aren't really the kinds of people that matter anyway.
That's fair, and the reason for my mistake was that it was an inaccurately labeled picture that I didn't look into more closely. Either way though, that was never the substance of what I was saying and only meant as a visual aid for those who struggle to follow along with just the text.
