Did you not care to read Pandaemonaeon's post. Their current roster payroll is actually less than ours. Look face it, new teams choke. Did you forget Rockets too had a 2-0 lead on the Mavs and also lost. What about the Astros that year? It happens. And that's the only way to get past that obstacle. Astros made it to the World Series the following year, and well, the Rockets choked so damn bad they didn't even make the playoffs
