Why do people want Kevin Love? He doesn't play defense...

I kinda agree. We need a PF, but I'd like the Rockets to get an enforcer, someone who plays great D and can finish inside.

What we need is that one guy that no one wants to **** with, and intimidator.

His teammates' unfortunate periodic injuries (Roy, Pekovic, Kirilenko, Rubio) largely account for the Timberwolves less-than-stellar record, not their management. Love's b****ing about the team is "quitting" on his teammates unfortunate circumstances to me. No respect at all.

I don't like that guy. His game doesn't even warrant him calling out the organization and implying that he's a "superstar" that needs to be moved.

Yeah but someone on your team has got to play defense to compensate. Look at the Lakers. Look at the Knicks with Carmelo & Amare the past two seasons.

I want some defensive studs to complement Harden.

But he scores points. Why would you want to pick up another guy who is a scorer?

Kevin Love has his place... it just doesn't seem like the right fit for the Rockets.

Sure. but there are other factors... and a change of scenery did wonders to a lot of players

    Who would you rather have?

Smith? Millsap? Jefferson? Those are the usual names. Aldridge? Gasol? Someone already on the roster? We have a (super)star in waiting on the roster? ;)

He gives you rebounding, he spreads the floor, he is a legit star that can take some pressure off of his teammates, and he gives you another great scoring threat if Harden is off. We can't keep depending on harden every night. Plus, when you have a defensive anchor like Asik, you can hide his defensive woes.

The real question is: Why do people want Josh Smith? He will hurt the spacing, he will gamble on defense, and he is not a go-to guy in the clutch.

You can make a point for both Love and Smith.... they bring different aspects of the game to the team

While getting Smith straight up won't make us top-tier contenders, it is MILES better than giving any of our key players (Parsons, Asik) for Love.

Yeah that's where it gets tough, lol. That's what we need but there's not a ****load of them out there.

Carl Landry would be nice now...

You're ridiculous. You keep bashing Kevin Love, but nobody can deny he is a star and a top 3 PF in the NBA. Your boy Josh Smith, on the other hand, demanded a trade before, but Kevin Love is a dramaqueen?

I want y'all to stream the next Hawks home game. Listen to the crowd when Josh Smith takes a jumper.

Every allstar or star who is not happy with the team will demand a trade.....
    that's just how it works...

Some are more classy than others but usually they all want out
