Dorsey (A player that's not known for his offensive prowess anyway), misses layups in limited action; everyone on Clutchfans dismisses him. D-Mo plays like crap game after game with adequate playing time; Clutchfans make up another excuse for his bad play, and claim he will do much better in the next game. SMH

Asik is the 3rd best rim protector in the league behind Hibbert and Dwight. You're very spoiled if you think we could keep him here as a backup.

I really believe that signing Dorsey was part of initial strategy to get KPap over here for a cheap deal.

He had a fully guaranteed contract and Les is paying for his salary regardless.
I think they kept Dorsey instead because they just needed big bodies in case Howard and Black went down with injuries.

Dorsey has a 2nd guaranteed year that Adrien & Ish didn't have. That's where cheap comes in, I think.

I do not think he is that cheap. Sure he is not the wealthiest owner out there.

I think he has little clue how to build a contending team for a decade.

Yea exactly, if they had kept Adrian and cut Dorsey they would have had to pay both. It was pretty much a money move.

What makes you think he knows we need to upgrade? The 4 spot has been the major weakness of this team for 2 and a half seasons now. If Morey knows that then he's done a pretty poor job of addressing it.

Black, Garcia, over Adrien it was a coaching decision. Not Morey.

Doesn't matter. The point is, Houston should've kept Adrien. He's an all-out hustle guy who can grab rebounds and can actually finish unlike Dorsey. I didn't mind the part of us keeping Tarik Black, but when we announced that we were going to keep Garcia and Dorsey... I was beyond pissed. Francisco Garcia is a total scrub. Honestly, what the hell does he do besides brick the ball? The dude is shooting like 25% from the field. I understand we're limited on options, so he's really our only backup but I don't understand what Morey saw in this guy. The only thing he does well is play defense. That's it. Dorsey is even worse. "Ray Lewis with a basketball"... please. I bet current Ray Lewis would be a better NBA player than Mr. Dorsey. Dude is absolute garbage. Can't rebound, can't score, and can't defend. He always our tempo whenever he comes in.

Its so funny to see people freak out over a 15th man on the bench who has a hard time even staying on a roster. lol

Maybe it's because the '15th man' we cut has NBA experience, whereas the '15th man' we kept (Dorsey) isn't an NBA player.

Better and more proven than a couple of guys sitting on ours, though.

He should be signed. He is a useful player. Very good for him.

And just because some preseason run by Black did not warrant him a place does not mean he isn't NBA ready.
