This is not accurate. We have 15 players on the roster. Someone would have to leave in exchange for Williams.
Mo "gimmie 11 shots and I will get you 12 points" Williams is an upgrade? Also where can one buy "Moreyade", do they sell it at Sonic? You know, Sonic is Morey's favorite... he used to stop by the one by his house 3-4 times a week.
stick him on the bench then, at least we will have someone else besides thge corpse of jason terry who can score.
JET would probably be a lot better for the locker room then Mo. Not sure if they'd be much tangibly different in the end result on the court, though.
LOL at the term "once again". Sits there twiddling his thumbs?? Did we suddenly all collectively move to Utah or something?? On what planet can ANYBODY accuse Morey of standing pat and twiddling his thumbs? And the worst part of this is the fact that OP blew his wad on a post about MO WILLIAMS......this is seriously the definition of going full r****d.
unbelieveable the amount of people who poo poo on a PG that can score, penetrate, shoot 3s, and dishes 6 dimes a game. you don't always need to go for the slam dunk or shoot the 3, a 15 foot jump shot can work too.
How can a PG like that who opted out of his contract and hoping for a long term deal but only ended up with probably the worse team in the league for a one year deal? And getting traded also!
i would've been happy with him as a safety net. he's a playoff tested, vet PG, who brings leadership, toughness, shooting, passing... etc... he'd be an upgrade. however, sometimes the timing doesn't work out. maybe morey wanted them to wait until the deadline, but the hornets needed a PG right now with kemba out making them a risk to slip out of the playoffs. the wolves had to decide to either take the deal from the hornets or wait for morey to maybe do the deal or not, they took the bird in hand. this is morey waiting for the big fish again... over the summer we lost out on lowry while waiting on melo. as it turns out, we'd be the best team in the league if we had kyle right now. so the wolves were right, sometimes the bird in hand is better. take what you've got and you wont end up empty handed. didn't moneyball rely on just getting on base more than hitting home runs? come on murray!
Some should look at his stats hes not a great shooter around 38% i think, although hes a 40% 3 point shooter. He can score(see 52 points twolves franchise high) yes we would've had to give up someone but noone of importance and to dish 6 assists on an a terrible twolves team is no easy feat. No hate to Bev but he can hardly pull that off with us, he would have been an upgrade no matter how you look at it. Also it would have improved bevs game IMO coming off the bench playing against second string guys, it definitely would have improved his confidence. I want dragic just as bad as the next guy, but trading for him would have cost us our depth. We've made it through half the season and are still considered an elite team I feel we should ride with what we have, make minor trades and reassess what we need in the offseason.
besides after that sh** he pulled last year he can gtfo. Don't forget that sorry ass statement he had to say about that too "mind games" with a freaking rookie, not Harden, Howard, Parsons but Troy Daniels. Nah.
If Rox offered a second round Minny would still take Charlotte's offer. They wanted along with MO to open a roster spot to take back Payne from Atlanta. So Rockets would have to trade one player and take back two which I don't see happening. Maybe why this deal didn't happen in the end.
Maybe harden didn't want him here? Didn't we end on bad terms with mo williams and the blazers last year?
It seems people are just getting desperate for a move any move to be made. We all know that most everything gets done on deadline day until then just relaxe.
Baby don't hurt me, don't hurt me, no Mo, no Mo! <iframe width="420" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/xhrBDcQq2DM" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
