This is getting extremely frustrating and old. I'm getting sick of watching "Brick" City at the Toyota Center...we can't even convert on layups.

I mean how are he ever supposed to do good in a 7 game series where we can't even protect our home court? Maybe instead of practicing on our practice court we need to practice on the Toyota center game court until we actually prove we can consistently shoot a good % there night in and night out.

Doesn't seem as much as a problem for the Pacers.

I'm tired of hearing the excuses....they have no problem shooting in the other 29 gyms (I'm sure ours isn't THAT much different), they need to learn how to protect their home court.

Rims are tight at home, I mean when's the last time an opponent ever had 100 pts at Toyota Center? Never, because JVG installed these defensive rims when he was coach.

Yeah, in fact it's such a good rim for them that they're shooting at a whopping... Uh... 37.7%. Awesome.

I understand your frustration, but the bad shooting should apply for both teams evenly if its bad depth perception, tight rims, etc. So its rather a moot point...

They took bad shots tonight, that is why they shot poorly.

Plus Rafer can't shoot the ball anywhere. I can't believe he still gets playing time.

Need to adjust the Toyota center to a gym that the Rockets shoot great at. Anyone know which stadium the Rockets like the most?

I never understood this "Rims are tight" excuse......isn't every damn rim in the NBA the same, cause I'm pretty sure the league regulates that crap.

The reason is simple. Rox offense didn't start from yao during last three possessions. They saw yao was fronted but they forgot pacers help defense was 15 feet away. Why didn't they throw lp?

I didn't see any rox player tried to screen yao's defender to get yao free when he moved to weakside. what's wrong with rox?

Because the whole damn stadium is built wrong. The lighting, the court, the seats, all wrong. Tear it down and build a new one. I agree with that Tmac quote from a while back about the lighting and the depth perception, something about the TC just makes it horrible for shooters.

Its so unusual though, the Rockets are two completely different teams home and away.

Didn't last year McGrady said something about the lighting in the arena... Its the lights probably who knows. Or maybe the rims are too tight

he didn't really get the ball firmly. think about it. ron dribbled into the paint and there were 3 or 4 pacers. he passed to yao in the mix. w/ yao's reaction time, i really doubt he had the ball in his hand firmly. yao just tried to rush the shot to beat time. in the mix with 3 or 4 pacers plus ron, he had no idea what was left on shot clock.
