I am among those who have become attached to our rookies.
If you are also attached to them, please express why.

Are they special in some way?
You think one is going to be a superstar?
You think they all are going to be allstars?
If we hold onto them they will be an championship NBA unit eventually?
Are you just emotionally attached for some reason?
    You like their personalities?
You just don't like the superstars that are available for a possible trade?
Does it make sense to be attached to these rookies?

I remember one year JVG said he really liked his the guys on his team, perhaps too much. Is this also true of how we feel about these rooks?

    What is it?

We get to keep them at the very low rookie scale salaries for up to four years and the have matching rights to lock them up for even longer.

I mostly lurk on this board, but the Rookie love goes way overboard, so I feel inclined to comment.

You guys will be blasting these kids (and Morey) the moment they have a bad game. Each one was passed on by 10+ teams. They each have a set of tools and a set of flaws...it is just as likely that half won't be in the league in 5 years as it is that half will be all-stars.

I don't get it. How about we see them play against NBA competition before we declare them untouchable.

Guys, it's simple. They are what they appear to be. A "Big Four".

I wouldn't say I'm attached but the rookies play a more exciting brand of basketball and give us fans hope for the team's future.

Our rookies are purebloods, not muggles. Rocket muggles can be good, but purebloods start off on a much higher plane (or plain, both work) from where to work their magic. If we send them elsewhere, particularly Orlando, their magic gets corrupted and they come back to haunt us, Voldemort style.

I believe its because of their personalities and mainly because they seemed to mesh well together. They played unselfish ball (excluding non-rookie Morris) and all had different unique talents, that added to their game.

You don't have to have 4 superstars to have a big four. Miami Heat?
