To me, this is a lot more ridiculous than the kings shopping Cousins. Love is the best power forward in the game, and is still really young. Does anyone here know why the Wolves are even considering shopping him? It doesn't make sense to me...
They think he will leave in free agency (their own fault.) So they can sign Pekovic. Media speculation.
i don't have a specific link, but i read hoopshype a lot and his name shows up quite a lot. why else would some of the rockets fans on here have hope of getting Love if there was no chance of getting him?
I've seen nothing that suggests that they are shopping him. It's all just fan speculation because he's having a tough year. It's a non-story as of right now.....but as we all know, anything can happen.
Yeah, I thought after Love apologized for those comments he made, everything was supposed to be cool within that organization. Then again, Kahn seems to think that Rubio is actually their franchise player and wants to build around him instead, and I'm sure they could get a good package for Love, so why not listen to offers?
Maybe they think that Derrick Williams could be a very good PF and they can obtain a lot with trading Love. For example: Parsons, Patterson and Morris or a draft pick.
LOL....This. CF debates about any dream we can think of....especially when things are slow and there's nothing else to do but talk about the possibilities and hopes. That said, I think I've kicked around Love to Houston ideas but based on a move a couple years from now. Nothing to go off of now....
The fact that they never extended him is a sign that they aren't fully committed to him. I haven't heard anything about him being shopped but it wouldn't shock me if they traded him especially if Williams plays well prior to the trade deadline.
They expect to have to pay Rubio and maybe Pekovic or if they get lucky Derrick Williams. And it's Kahn. He feels you can't pay more than one guy to be the face of the franchise, you cannnot ever pay luxury taxes, heck you cannot even spend much over the cap. Otherwise his ability to buy extra yachts is severely impeded. It also seems that Love has been a little mouthy, in his opinion, about being unappreciated and about not liking to lose
