like most fans they dunno the rockets have played w/o dwight for most of the season and when he was there wasnt 100% in most of his games played. dwight is 16/10/1.3 in an injured year. any team would want that from their center. they prolly stillt hink harden doesnt play deense, dunno anything about how good this team can be on defense when dwight is there. just take what the bullsh media tell them. they're gonna see their high scoring offense come to a screeching halt. and they're not a good defensive team, so they're gonna watch us torch them. yup
Yeah, but he didn't play though. Although he is cited as the reason that the Mavs won game 1 against the Lakers in which they were down by like 20 and Brewer just went ham in like 6 minutes thus helping the Mavs win a game they shouldn't have won.
Portland I thought we would win, but still the worry of LMA who has dominated us in the regular season. Dallas is the one playoff team I have no fear of at all. If you are truly intimidated by them, you must have an inferiority complex when it comes to this team.
Other teams' fans aren't scared of us because James Harden still needs to prove he can dominate in the playoffs as the go-to guy. I think he can. But he hasn't. He played like an MVP this season. But he needs to maintain that MVP level in the playoffs. Once he proves that and just wins a series or 2, the other teams fanbases will be forced to respect and fear him.
People need to calm down. Stop talking about round 2. Remember last season? We talked about round 2 while choking on LMA's penis and getting dagger dicked by Lillard.
They feel they have a coach that could outshine ours. And in playoffs, that's where coach shines the most as their decision heavy impacts the series. I mean they did take last years spurs to game 7 so in their mind they probably think that they can at least take Rockets to game 7.
Faith in your team no matter what. I have the common case going around Houston called First Round Exit Syndrome (FRES) but I still have faith the Rockets will pull it off.
Because they still think that Steve Francis and Cuttino Mobley are the best players on the team....and they think that Dirk is 10 years younger and they still have a prime Nash.
People, lets not get ahead of ourselves here. We have a severe disadvantage coaching wise. Dirk is till Dirk, and if Rondo/Ellis step up and bring their A-game we are hosed. They have scrappy defenders as well as very powerful offensive weapons. This will NOT be a walk in the park.
If anyone is excepting an easy matchup then you are fooling yourself. They are going to play us tough and that's the bottom line. I can see this matchup going to 7 games.
