Why are Harley bikes legal again?

The over-simplified answer is "overcompensation."


But I agree, those things make an unholy racket that is quite unpleasant to my ears.

I do enjoy my vespa though.

 

The people that really bother me are the 20 yo morons on the little crotch rockets that zip through traffic at like 10x the prevailing speed and take off from every stoplight at full acceleration. They bug me much more than the fat, bearded decrepit old men and alcoholic meth freaks riding around on their ape-hangers trying to look cool.

 

I have about 10 ride down the main street in from of my apartment every ****ing day. You have to be a grade a douchebag to ride one

 

I actually like those bikes. If I'm ever next to one at a stop light I make sure to roll my window down so I can hear those sick pipes in all their glory.

I got a ticket in my truck in high school for loud exhaust and loud radio but it was nothing compared to the freaking motorcycles. I don't know why they never get tickets when they always remove the muffler on their motorcycles.

 

I don't mind them, to each his/her own I guess, but we do have this total d-bag who has one and revs it every day in our office parking garage which sets off car alarms.

Biggest attention whores there are. I was at a light the other day, biker guy gets off his bike, lights a cigarette, looks around to see who is watching him. Biggest attention whores. Ever.

 

Would anyone else support a law regulating the noise level of motorcycles?

 

The law is why they come with mufflers. It's the modifications that some people don't like.
Enforcement is the key, as is the case in many situations.
