Is this the strategy vs the Suns. I think the Suns score 90% of the time the got a switch?

Why? What is the idea of leaving a Center on Nash every time?

We can't fight any screen, or was Adelman strategy to switch everything?

Seems like Adelman's secret defensive strategy.

EXACTLY!!! This is the reason why the Rocket's lost, well along with Shane Battier missing the ocean

You know it is bad when the defense is letting one of the best shooters in the NBA shoot open jumpers against you on purpose.

Looks like Adelman is still experimenting with different rotations. Sure, the season is young and we still have time to experiment.

It must been a game plan, but Rick should have adjusted to it by stop switching.

The Suns' picks are actually very good. Before our guards could recover, their bigs already pull them away and they couldnt afford to leave the bigs because tehyre veery good shooters.

It was a deliberate strategy to turn nash into a jump shooter and stop him getting everybody involved.

Problem is Nash scored whenever he wanted and he still got everyone involved anyway.

Yes they couldn't afford leaving their big, just leaving our big on Nash.

I don't know why but Scola keeps going over the top of screens and stays way too long. Surprised none of the coaches tell him to stay back unless that was the stretegy, which if it was failed miserably.

Because then you're forcing Nash to beat you himself, rather than getting the entire team going.

The problem is, when you do that, your other guys need to stay home at all times. They didn't do that and it left the shooters open.

Turns out that switching on the pick and roll against the Suns is generally a profitable strategy. You want to keep a guy in front of Nash (even if he's slower) and not give him open passing lanes.

It didn't work for the Rockets this time -- doesn't mean its a bad strategy.

It would've worked if our guys didnt suck on offense and defense so bad.

Well if that defense is working good. It wasn't working.

Is like stooping the Lakers by playing Zone because is the best defense, but the Zone is not working but you stick the entire game.

This coach have no plan B. how bout some trap to get the ball out Nash. How about some zone, how about some man to man defense, Ca we mixit up a little especially if not working.

Adelman is the works coach at adjusting.
