Sorry, I should have titled this thread "Who's the Best Troll of All-Time at Clutch City". You got to admit that with you winning the most Improved poster from moestavern19 that you really can't be considered a troll on this BBS. However, on other things, no question--you win hands down!!:D

Do a search for "Bob Rainey" and you will find the greatest troll, in my humble opinion...

Maybe you should rename your poll to "Who's the Best Troll since August of 2001?". :D

In all seriousness, were you a lurker or hiding behind a different alias before "MannyRamirez" came into our lives? You knowledge of this site and its members seems to extend beyond your short time here.

Either that or you've just went search-crazy and read almost every post on this bbs made in the last two years (or however far back the search feature goes?)

I will never tell you my secrets....Mwahahahahaha!!

Seriously, I have been a Rocket fan for a long time and I found out about this site about a year ago. However, at that time, I never went to the BBS, I just read the news or updates on the Rocket team. I quickly discovered that although better than the Chronicle and ESPN and other sport sites, my quest to find out Rocket inside info was still missing something. On a whim, I registered on the BBS simply to read scoops on who the Rockets were going to get. Then I got into posting and let me tell you something: it's addicitive for me. Believe it or not, I have to be careful because I could spend all day here. Also, I have always had a phenomenal memory, so it didn't take long to know who the core posters were here. It should be very interesting to see how much things change here once the season starts. Also, I am bored.:D

I thought Dignity Bear was pretty funny.

no other ones pop to mind at the moment that haven't already been mentioned.

Manny, everyone has a point. You simply do not have enough time here to know who the good trolls were.

    How about:

    scottiepippensixrings
    stroshow
ty something (what was his name?)
roydelton ("At least I screw sheep"...all time funniest line!)
    COACH SAMPSON

and countless others who lasted such a short time that their name escapes me now.

I commend your efforts to get into the clique, but you will never get in until you quit trying.

Behad- tybrave of "your mean" fame.

I concur that Roy D. Elton's sheep line was one of the greatest moments.

You guys can't forget Mr. Arbitrator either...

Just to continue on my previous point, the Rainey troll was the best, but you'd have to mention all of the Rainey trolls to really understand the legend.

    Beto whatever
    Jim1965
    hotdogeater
    Rodney McCray
    kingrene

plus many more Rainey trolls I'm forgetting...

The beauty of his trolls is that some people actually agree with their extreme posts...

Edit: Also Behad's right, you're trying way too hard to be in the clique...

How about PinecombFM60? Calling out Clutch and Doc Rocket during his posting frenzy.

The whole StroShow episode was hilarious, getting out of hand to the point that several of us went over to the Grizz site and started to disrupt their board. hee hee, the memories.

I still think that trolls are funny sometimes and that they can, in certain cases, spice up the BBS. Some I really did not like were Caveman and Stroshow...some of the others were actually rather funny imho, like Mr. Arbitrator or so...
