A pick 6 would have been been the best outcome after the INT since the idiot Cowboys coaching staff didn't allow the Broncos to score and they ran out the clock. But whatever it was a bad throw at a critical moment -- though it shouldn't have been so critical since the offense put up 48 pts. This loss for Dallas is on the defense more than that INT.

As a Cowboys fan and someone who even called that pick before it happened, I'm still not blaming this on Romo. He had his best game ever against a top defense before that final interception. 48 points should win you a game. It's not his fault the defense just let the Broncos march down for a touchdown to tie.

They were hoping to hold them to a fg. That last play was a 3rd and 1, if they stop moreno, then they still have time to go down and win the game or at least get it to overtime.

They played it the right way. If it were 2nd and 1, maybe they just let him score. But 3rd and 1 the right move was to try to force a fg.

I don't think this is the case at all. Romo puts up bigger numbers and simply does much more for his team while maintaining the same level of efficiency as Scahub. And he does it without the benefit of having a top tier running game or defense to take the pressure off.

Exactly this. Romo is a top 5-7 QB in terms of talent. Just has a knack of making the worst plays at the worst times

Romo and it's really not all that debatable. Say what you want about him being clutch, but he's miles ahead of Matt Schaub, who's also not clutch at all.

Is Romo really getting flack for todays game? Yeah, he threw a costly INT when it matter most but he was playing his ass off. Completely tore apart the Denver's defense, I don't think I've ever seen a QB dissect a defense as effectively as he did today.

Did you turn the channel when Denver was on offense today?

    Or never watched Brady?

JayGoogle must be depressed that his man-crush Schaub is being exposed this season.

Romo. It's not even close and I despise the Cowboys.

Mancrush lol, because I've said such nice things about Matt Schaub

Either way, Romo has not had much success in his career. We are judging their careers, you guys do know that Matt Schaub also had a 500 yard 5 TD game right?

These two are very very alike in terms of production, difference is Cowboys have gone nowhere with Romo and Schaub has had similar statistical seasons and more team success.

No, we are judging by who is better now and any sane person would take Romo. It's not even debatable.

Except they aren't. They play totally different types of games under totally different conditions, and they put up totally different stats. Romo is asked to lead his team, while Schaub is asked to manage the game. Romo puts up similar levels of efficiency while doing far more for his team and putting up much bigger stats. In basically the same number of games, Romo has about 50% more TDs than Schaub.

Ironically, I think Romo would really excel in the Texans offensive system.

Romo would make the Texans instant contenders.

He is that much better than Schaub.

Absolutely - Romo's biggest issue is decision-making, and the Texans system minimizes that. Add Romo's mobility and arm strength to this system, and you'd have all the pieces on offense.

    Production wise.

    QB A
    46-41-0 (record)
    Completion % 64.3
    128-79 (TD-INT)
    23310 (Yards)
    Game Winning Drives - 14

    QB B
    57-41-0 (record)
    Completion % 65.1
    190-93 (TD-INT)
    27260 (Yards)
    Game Winning Drives - 19

One QB is just so superior to the other, it's not eve close right?

Can't believe people here are fawning over Romo, the same QB that most of Dallas has been wanting to replace for awhile. Football is about results in the end. That's why I'm sure that people would pick Eli over Romo because one guy is clutch and the other is not.
