Wall has the tools to be the most dominating point guard defensively.
He needs a coach who can bring that out in him. A JVG or Larry Brown type coach who will push him on that side of the ball.

Which means he has to move to another city. I don't see any top defensive coaches going to Washington.

Why do you say that? What defensive coaches would avoid the Wizards?

    John Wall, easily.

Rubio is good but their ceiling is not even close.

It's not like Wall is an unwilling passer, between him, Westbrook and Rose, Wall is probably the most passing orientated PG.

If you ask who is better, Lowry or say Dwill, many of us will say Lowry because he is having a much better season so far. Same thing with this question....

Wall easily, at least he looks to improve his shooting

Rubio reminds me of Jason Williams, once you get use to the flashy play, you soon work out that he doesn't get his team wins

Wall has no wow factor, just another regular black point guard.

John Wall and it's not even debatable. Put Wall on the Rockets and it's banner time! How exactly did wall earn the brick moniker over Rubio? I love that Spanish pick and roll ninja, but he literally built brick city all by his lonesome.

Rubio is another European player that is probably going to go back to the Euroleage with comments like this...

    <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p>Rubio: &quot;It's basketball. I love it. But I'm just not having as much fun as it used to be.&quot;</p>&mdash; Jon Krawczynski (@APkrawczynski) <a href="https://twitter.com/APkrawczynski/statuses/423972083966562304">January 17, 2014</a></blockquote>

Rubio is one of the worst starting PGs in the league.

None of the above, that includes Williams and Lowry ;) If I were forced to pick, then I have to snatch up wall.

    That's because the Wolves suck.

Put Rubio on a contending team, and he'll change his tune.
